Meet Stephanie
Hi, I’m Stephanie Pearl, founder and principal of Adaptive Roots Consulting. I’m here to partner with you as you navigate career transitions, enhance your leadership capacity, and bring together high-performance teams.
When I was in graduate school at the University of Georgia, I often wondered about the best way to advance science in service to society. As researchers, how do we bridge the gap between science and the consumer? How do we effectively put our stakeholders at the heart of our work? How do we overcome our differences in learning and communication styles to work together and deliver impactful work? And how do we manage and motivate our teams for success?
Since finishing my PhD in plant biology, I’ve had an opportunity to explore these questions as a postdoctoral researcher, a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow, a science communicator at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture, an advisor and special projects coordinator at the USDA Agricultural Research Service, an Alabama Cooperative Extension Specialist, and a collaborator with Gilburg Leadership Incorporated. Through these experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to leverage communication, strategy, and engaged leadership to work collaboratively to advance science in service to society.
Since 2022, I’ve had the honor and privilege of serving emerging and established leaders in the sciences and food systems through Adaptive Roots Consulting. I invite you to explore how I work with individuals, teams, and organizations through group facilitation, training, and one-on-one coaching.
